After Lords of the Underground member DoItAll Dupré warmed up the crowd with renditions of 'Funky Child,' 'Surrender' and 'Chief Rocka,' Foxy emerged from backstage to the tune of 'Stylin',' rocking a skintight beige ensemble that could barely contain a recent weight gain. "I know you seen this bum ass bitch tryna get her locked up," said Mouse, her hype man for the evening. "But we got the bail money to get her out the next day!"
"Can't keep a good woman down," Foxy added after renditions of 'Ain't No Nigga,' 'Get Me Home' and 'Hot Spot.' "I have the best fans in the world. We haven't put out a record in 10 years and we got TMZ in the trees!"The Brooklyn native dedicated a few songs to the ladies in the house, ripping through her verse from Total's 'No One Else (Remix),' 'Magnetic,' 'Candy' and 'BK Anthem.' Pausing before a live band joined her, Foxy addressed the crowd again about the recent arrest. "Hatin' ass bitches tryna get me locked up, but I wasn't gonna miss this show for the world!" she exclaimed, licking her teeth. "Shout out to all the fans who wrote me in jail. I wrote every single one of y'all back!"
Fox soon dipped into the reggae joints from her discography after a backing band joined her on the stage, performing 'Na Na Be Like,' 'Come Fly With Me,' 'Tables Will Turn' and 'Oh Yeah,' during which Spragga Benz came out to sing the chorus. Li'l Vicious warmed up the crowd while Fox went backstage to pull out The Firm members AZ and Cormega, who joined the group's leading lady to do 'Affirmative Action' and 'Phone Tap.'
"Foxy went straight to jail to her for y'all," said Cormega. "The Firm is officially back together!" exclaimed Fox.
Before the sound cut off, AZ spit his verse from Nas's classic 'Life's a Bitch,' leaving the stage to allow Fox to address the crowd one last time. The femcee, while assuring the audience that her new album, 'Black Roses,' is slated for release later this year, left the stage to the tune of Jimi Hendrix's 'Foxy Lady' - and that she was.
