The project has been steadily building over the past three years as an open and unique dialogue between both artists. Using technology to their advantage, Alchemist and Oh No sent tracks back-and-forth, showcasing new production styles and improving their potent mixture of grimy beatmaking and strong lyricism.
'Gutter Water' will feature production from both artists and showcase the two rapping over the others' beats. Check out the duo's new track, 'Chain Swinging,' for an example of where things are headed. Boasting a strong, Indian-inflected beat from Oh No, Alchemist pushes hard over the track like it's 1995 all over again.
The album also sports a good number of high-profile features. Guests include everyone from Raekwon and Guilty Simpson to Big Twins, Evidence, Roc C and Fashawn.
