According to the U.K. Mirror, Jay-Z will fly his pal and new business partner, British rapper Tinchy Stryder, stateside to teach him the finer points of the game. "I can't believe it. Jay loves golf and now he's finally got a bit of time to play so I'm going out there. I can't wait," Stryder told the Mirror.
Stryder says he's become closer to the celebrity couple in recent months, due in part to his new entertainment deal with the Brooklyn rapper. Hov recently inked a joint venture with Stryder to launch the new 360 entertainment company, Takeover Roc Nation.
Takeover Roc Nation is a combination of Jay-Z's Roc Nation label and Tinchy Stryder's management company, Takeover Entertainment. The U.K.-based company will be equipped to handle record deals, live performances, management and merchandising for their artists. Takeover Roc Nation will release records through Sony Music, while working with Live Nation to handle artist management. Tinchy Stryder released his debut album 'Star in the Hood' in 2007, but the 23-year-old has already launched several successful businesses, including a publishing company and clothing line. "Jay-Z is my music and my business inspiration and to go into business with him is a dream come true," Stryder admitted when news of the deal broke.
