Though the collaboration began as a simple tweet, yesterday, Kanye excitedly updated his followers to say that Rae was indeed coming studio to record a verse. "Raekwon coming to the studio later 2day," Kanye wrote, before geeking out. "Who remember the purple tape?! Raekwon album not only changed my life it dictated it and yes I spent my first check on a Cuban link chain."
Today Kanye has continued to update fans regarding the progress of the remix, tweeting "Finishing @JustinBieber Runaway Love remix too...don't know when they gonna drop it but Raekwon's verse is crazy!!!"In typical Chef fashion, Rae stoically confirmed the collab via Twitter as well, writing simply "In the studio yall."
