Snoop Dogg will participate in his most explosive marketing stunt to date, when he destroys an armored truck in the Las Vegas desert on Thursday night (Aug. 19).

The Doggfather is scheduled to detonate the four-ton truck in the desert as part of a promotional stunt for the new video game 'Mafia Wars: Las Vegas.' The explosive event is intended to commemorate the popular game's 'Las Vegas' installation for reaching the 10 million player mark. As part of the fictional story line, 10 million players are expected to defeat the game's 'Hill Brothers' who run a casino in Las Vegas, before the truck can be detonated.

"I'm going to be blowing sum ish up today!" Snoop wrote on Twitter, before linking to the game's website. 'Mafia Wars: Las Vegas' was released on July 21, and is the fifth city added to the popular social gaming series.

The exact location of the stunt has not been revealed, in an effort to keep fans away from the fireworks, but the event will be broadcast live on the 'Mafia Wars' website beginning at 9PM ET.
