"The deal's almost done!" laughed Cam'Ron before Capo turned the camera on himself. "Deal almost done!" said Jones.
Though Dipset hasn't officially announced the label on which they will release their reunion LP, Killa Cam recently spoke on the group's record deal, stating that they've been in negotiations with a few imprints. "It's a few people that's been getting at us, but the money's not really where we want it to be," he stated. "So we'd rather distribute it ourselves until somebody comes with the right amount of money. Jim is using the 'Salute' record as his single, so we'll build off of that. But basically, with the Diplomat thing, everybody is gonna do it, but we got obligations."
The group, who recently released the buzz single 'Salute' in June, has already recorded about eight or nine tracks for the project. The title of the track's parent album is still unannounced, but 'Salute' is intended to be the first single off of Jones' upcoming solo album 'Capo.' Dipset's reunion album is expected to hit stores later this year.
