Beginning this November in New Zealand, U2 and Jay will hit Auckland's Mount Smart Stadium, before making their way to Australia's Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. The 360 tour will finish off December 18 at Perth's Subiaco Oval, commemorating the first time the Irish group has performed in the city since 1998. Tickets go on sale September 3 and range in prices from $39.90 AUD to $100. U2.com subscribers will have the chance to purchase tickets before the general public.
Jay has had a close relationship with band leader Bono, who is known for his philanthropic work around the world. The two most recently worked together on the 'Hope for Haiti Now' telethon that raised over $57 million for Haitian citizens in the wake of the catastrophic earthquake that hit the country in January. Hov and Bono recorded the song 'Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)' with all proceeds going to charity.
