Timbaland Shuts Down Suicide Rumors

Earlier this morning, Timbaland became the target of gossip sites all over the Internet. Following the theft of his $2 million watch, the hitmaker vanished from his abode, prompting a concerned friend to call the police fearing that Timbaland was contemplating suicide. But a few hours later, Timbo resurfaced, calling Ryan Seacrest to clear up the rumors and drama.

"I don't even know what happened," he said of the commotion. "To be honest with you, I don't even know what people were talking about. The only thing that I did was take a drive to figure out how to handle it."

The Grammy-winner continued by explaining that he didn't lose a watch, but rather something else, and that this kind of thing happens to him all the time. But this time, he claims it must have been an inside job. "Why would I commit suicide? I could buy what was stolen," he explained. "You know it's close in your family when it's things in your house."

The singer-songwriter, who was discovered by a police officer acquaintance this morning, is already back in the studio working on Keri Hilson's upcoming sophomore album. Timbaland released his third solo album 'Shock Value II' in December 2009, finding success with the singles 'Say Something' featuring Drake and 'If We Ever Meet Again' featuring Katy Perry.

@kalmar2, I don't have to check anything at the door. He'll be 'off the charts', broke and trying to get a gig at some run down bar playing happy hours!! And since you don't know me, what gives you the right to call me a 'hater'? If he keeps wasting money (2 million for a watch) he'll soon have none.

2 million on a watch? That jeweler must had seen him coming!! He could had bought a Rolex Presidental and had money left over!! Heck, I used to DJ and constantly listen to Dance music stations and have yet to hear anything by him. He'll turn out like some artists (excuse me... One Hit Wonders) from the 80's and 90's... Tiffany-'I Think We're Alone Now', Vanilla Ice-'Ice,Ice,Baby', Rockwell-'Somebody's Watching Me', Neneh Cherry-'Buffalo Stance', Shelia E.-'Love Bizzarre' (yes she also had 'Glamorous Life' but 'Love Bizzrre' had more radio and club play), Freeze-'AEIOU', 'She Drives Me Crazy'-Fine Young Cannibals, etc. These artists 'toured','sold 'records, cd's' but most are back to 'normal folks jobs'. So, don't buy another watch...save the money for when people say 'Timbaland who'?

You can afford to have a watch that cost 2M, you can afford to have insurance for the watch as well. So, if it's stole or lost, no sweat, call your insurance agent and collect. Moving on to the next melodrama.

I stole this monkeys watch.I did it for the mighty EAST SIDE WHITE PRIDE gang outta FRESNO CA.We put it down on talking monkeys.This talking apes watch might have been worth 2 mil but it still looked like crap.
