The Beatles were ranked as the top Greatest Musicians of All Time, while Bob Dylan came in at No. 2. Michael Jackson pulled behind Dylan, followed by Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Elvis Presley, James Brown and Stevie Wonder.
While R&B artists like Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin made the Top 30, Jay-Z is the first hip-hop act to chart on the list, wedged at number 47 between the Ramones and Rage Against the Machine. Public Enemy dropped at 54, while Notorious B.I.G. landed at 63, Tupac Shakur placed at 69 and Run-D.M.C. ranked at 76.
Beyonce and Justin Timberlake were voted to 52 and 66, respectively, while Eminem sits at 79 in front of the Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul, Mary J. Blige. N.W.A showed up at 86, and Beastie Boys and Outkast nabbed 89 and 95. Alicia Keys rounded out the list at 100.
