Nicki Minaj has been tapped to perform her hit 'Your Love' during the MTV Video Music Awards pre-show. In addition to kicking off the big show, Minaj is also launching a Twitter contest to give 10 lucky fans a chance to win a front-row seat to her performance.

"I am truly honored to be a part of this year's VMAs. Just yesterday I was an underground female rapper. See, Barbz? Dreams do come true," Minaj said in a statement.

This year comedian Chelsea Handler will act as ringmaster of the big show, which will feature performances by Kanye West, Drake, Eminem, Justin Bieber, B.o.B, Usher and more. Minaj will take the stage again later in the evening as a presenter. Trey Songz, Ke$ha, Ne-Yo and Justin Timberlake will also grace the stage at some point to present their peers with moonmen.

The 27th annual MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 12, at 9PM ET. The pre-show kicks off at 8PM.
