As previously reported Tiny and T.I. were pulled over in Hollywood Wednesday night after making an illegal U-turn on Sunset Boulevard. Police searched their vehicle and arrested the twosome for suspicion of possession of what is believed to have been ecstasy pills. Although the couple were released after posting $10,000 bail this latest arrest may prove to be more detrimental to T.I. than his wife. The Atlanta native was released from federal prison late last year after serving seven months behind bars, and is currently on probation. Since drug possession is a direct violation of his probation, this latest legal hiccup could land him right back behind bars. "We're not making any observations at this time," Tip's attorney Ed Garland said in an interview. "This is an unfortunate occurrence, and we do not know what the outcome will be."
Tip was arrested back in 2007 for purchasing machine guns and silencers in the parking lot of an Atlanta shopping center. He was sentenced to 366 days in an Arkansas prison, but was released early to a halfway house, due to good behavior. Since the event, T.I. publicly pledged to change his life around, and toured around the country discouraging young people from following in his footsteps.
