Jim Jonsin Calls Charles Hamilton 'Strange' -- Say What!

In a recent interview, "Lollipop" producer Jim Jonsin said he wished he'd taken back the beat he gave "strange" rapper Charles Hamilton. "I find Charles Hamilton to be a little strange; he has his own vibe. He's all over the place, but he's a really good writer and is easy to get along with. I was going to play the actual track for T.I. or Jeezy. Nothing against what Charles did, but I wish that track went to someone else." Ouch. [VIBE]

Here's another Boy Jones quote about performing his late father Ol' Dirty Bastard's group. "It's me. It's his son. A son is like a father, he always gotta do what his father does. He's born in that type of way. It ain't nothing else to it. I got the call from RZA [to tour with the Wu] when I was feeding my babies baby food. 'You going on the tour.' I'm running. I need that bread. Young Dirty Bastard raps hard, too. I ain't doing it for free. I need money and I rap hard....My music is coming with an Ol' natural style....Ol' Dirty Bastard had the s--t. I'm just the new sperm of the generation. And you know I'm gonna have it. I'm born with it." Wu-Tang is for the children. Puffy is good, but Wu-Tang is the best! [MTV]
