Fab, being the self-proclaimed "King of Twitter" that he is, immediately launched a "stupidboyswag" campaign against the 20-year-old artist, cracking jokes about his naiveness and alleged drug problem. In response, Soulja Boy went on a 2AM Twitter rampage, threatening to "murder" Fab in a rap battle.
The situation was quashed last night, however, during an on-air interview with DJ Clue on New York's Power 105. "I thought that he was taking shots at me, when it was just jokes. It was a misunderstanding, a miscommunication," Soulja Boy explained. "I'm about making money."
Fabolous, who stated that he had no beef with Soulja Boy early on, easily agreed to end the "dispute." "We're not trying to make a LeBron special ... we smoothed it out and back to the money," he said. "I know people thought it was going to be a [Manny] Pacquiao fight, but we sat down like bosses."
