Khia Notches Her 20th Arrest

Johnny Nunez, WireImage

'My Neck, My Back' rapper Khia was arrested once again this past Wednesday, Sept. 8. The self-proclaimed "Thug Misses" has a history of run-ins with the law, and a collection of mugshots to rival Ma Barker, yet this most recent charge has to be one of the most confusing.

Khia, 32, was arrested in Gwinnett County, Georgia on Wednesday evening, charged with "endangering security interest," and released after posting $1,300 bond, just a few hours later. Apparently, the obscure charge refers to an incident whereupon an automobile owner has defaulted on their vehicle's financing and then refuses the repo company to take back the vehicle.

Such a shame the rappers like to be "gangstas" and troublemakers. And we thought "I Fought the Law and the Law Won" was a "bad" song.....
There will always be a division between the black and white races in this country as long as we have rappers and gangstas as role models for our black youth. When we have more positive black role models like Bill Cosby for the black kids to emulate, we might see less crime and more black students graduating from high school, maybe even go to college! - gregg in Sarasota, FL

every single time I read responses to a black person doing something questionable in the news, I see responses by people generalizing the whole race, as in the statement about rappers going to jail and that lowering crime.

I rarely see that kind of racial generalization made when a white person does something equally questionable.

When Britnney Spears, or some other white performer says or does a questionable thing, I NEVER see comments that connect her actions with all white women being a certain thing, orall whites desribed negatively, yet EVERY time a black person makes a gaffe, the commenters jump at the chance to make hateful statements about the African Americans

What I have noticed is that there is a huge amount of hate toward blacks
by what appear(I cannot be sure) but seem like white reponses to the articles, and that the articles give license to people to put their real feelings out, which are very very discriminatory and narrow.

We cannot discuss issues without someone saying "see? all blacks want is...." You fill in the blank.

I grew up thinking that we in America were somewhat smarter and more fortunate than most of the world, but what I see more and more is a myopic view of life, laced with distrust, and fear of other cultures.

I am very dissapointed with the comments section. It could be used in a socialogical study.

If "Operation Repo" is and indicator, people tend to go ballistic when the repo man shows up. Seems Khia matched the profile. I wonder though, how many repos end up on the editor's floor because the owner didn't blow up on camera?

No wonder Gwinnett County is looking like such a slum hole in places. UGH! I'm SICK of these moronic "thugs" thinking that they have the right to come into an area and take over. And, I'm just as sick of people like myself who are forced to move out instead of fighting back and keeping our "home" safe and clean. "Thugs".....GO AWAY! We don't want you in Gwinnett County! I never really considered myself "racist" until I encountered the thiefs and criminals who invaded my neighborhood earlier this year. I was forced to move for safety reasons...because there was no way to fight back (I learned that if you fight back...they will break in...take your stuff...threaten you...and, sadly, the police do NOTHING).

How about the fact she has been arrested 20 times. How many chances are criminals allowed to have before they are stopped forever?
