'Incarcerated,' set for a Sept. 28 release, follows on the heels of last year's 'Superbad: The Return of Boosie Bad Azz,' which nabbed a Top 10 debut in its first week out. "This project is some of the songs I recorded right before I turned myself in in November," said Boosie in a statement. "Even through these circumstances my family, labels and fans have stood by me and I thank you for that. My album Incarcerated comes at a real changing point in my life."
Additionally, his imprint Trill Entertainment will release a DVD dubbed 'Ghetto Stories: The Movie' starring Boosie, Webbie, Tyrin Turner, Nicole 'Hoopz' Alexander with guest appearances from Bun B and Paul Wall. The film, due this fall, focuses on rival drug dealers in Baton Rouge fighting over territory.
And to top it all off, his label will release the posse cut CD 'Trill Family' on Oct. 26, boasting the singles 'My People' and 'Turn Tha Beat Up.' Fans can catch a glimpse of Boosie's road to incarceration with the release of a documentary, set to be unleashed in pieces over the next few weeks.
