T-Pain Surprises Sponjetta on 'America's Got Talent' Finale

Sponjetta Parrish got the surprise of lifetime last night during her swan song performance on NBC's variety show 'America's Got Talent' when T-Pain walked on stage mid-song.

When Sponjetta auditioned earlier in the season for judges Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan, performing her hand-waving anthem 'Up in My Studio,' things didn't go so well for the aspiring femcee. While the panel of judges gave her the axe, host Nick Cannon thought the opposite of her vocal chops. Cannon brought Sponjetta back on last night's season five finale, which crowned hatted crooner Michael Grimm the winner, where she performed 'Up in My Studio' with Cannon and surprise guest T-Pain. I saw that and Sponjetta was far better in that performance than her earlier performance they showed this summer. I like that Nick Cannon defended and supported her, even if the judges panned the performance. She needs to get on a record label and find some A-list R&B producers to produce her album. And T-Pain performing with her was a surprise. The remix was funkier than the original--she's got a very tight song and hook to match with her strong voice. And great comment from Sharon Osbourne--Jay-Z and Alicia Keys--move over! Obviously she was impressed with Sponjetta's improvement over the previous one!
