But despite previous chatter that he worked with actress Taraji P. Henson on a track, Nelly explained that he jumped the gun and that the record didn't end up happening. "A lot of times, you work on a record and try to get things to come to fruition," he told RapRadar.com. "Sometimes as an artist, we tend to speak too soon because we think it's going to happen."
'Nelly 5.0,' which Nelly says is almost finished, includes the track '1,000 Stacks' featuring Diddy, where the two take turns rhyming over a vocal sample of the Notorious B.I.G. Additionally, the LP will include the sequel to his smash hit 'Dilemma,' for which he will re-team with Kelly Rowland. "Unbelievable," says Nelly of the Jim Jonsin-produced 'Dilemma Pt. 2.' "That's my sister, that's love right there."
The album, which also features production from pop wizard Dr. Luke, is set for a November 16 release.
