"I didn't have a problem with Fat Joe; 50 did," Yayo told MTV. "So now it's my problem." Though it's unclear as to why the dispute between 50 and Joe, which has been going on for years, is suddenly such a priority for Yayo, he continued to say that Joe's offer of a fair fight between the two men is wishful thinking. "Where I'm from, there's no such thing as a fair one," Yayo continued. "If that man is fighting, you fighting too. That's just how it is. Like [Joe] said, he don't know where [the beef] started from. Whatever beef 50 got with him, that's his issue. But 50 is my homie, and it is what it is."
Yayo concluded by stating that Joe had better watch his back. "If you really dislike 50, then you really dislike Yayo," he said. "'Cause anybody that doesn't like 50 isn't gonna like Yayo. There goes the answer right there. If I see you, you see me, something might potentially happen." Guess that ol' saying -- "the couple that swabs together, stays together" -- holds true.
Tony Yayo is currently working on his second studio album, which is as-yet untitled, and will be released via G-Unit Records/EMI. The first single, 'Pass the Patron' features 50 Cent, and can be heard here.
