Veteran Cali rappers Yukmouth and C-Bo aka the Thug Lordz, are not just a rap group, they also f--k with each other heavy. "Me and [C-Bo] are homeboys; we f--k with each other heavy, so [Thug Lordz] is more than just a group, it's a lifestyle," explained Yukmouth, on a three-way call with C-Bo and HipHopDX. C-Bo added, "I've been wanting to work [together] since I was first listening to Yukmouth, back in the day. He always had his own lil' type of spittery." Lifestyle thugz, so much spittery. [HipHopDX]
Jay Weinberg, son of Conan O'Brien/Sprinsgteen drummer Max Weinberg, was unceremoniously dumped from NYHC band Madball. "I'm letting Jay go...because I just feel he doesn't represent this band well on a character level," said Madball singer Freddy Cricien. "It would go against my own code of ethics to keep him around. Not saying he's a bad drummer. I won't take that away from him. But...he has a lot to learn about paying dues, and about life in general...I'm not sure that he'll ever be built for this particular lifestyle." It's all good, Jay. 25 ta Life is probably hiring.
