The movie, which is produced by Captured Light Films, also features appearances by Dr. Cornel West, Cynthia McKinney, Fillmore Slim, Norman Lear. Interested parties can catch screenings in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Michigan, New Jersey, New York and Washington D.C.
'GhettoPhysics' features a mixture of the usual documentary-type footage with animation, satire and some pointed dramatization. The film attempts to demonstrate that the parallel power dynamics that happen in street prostitution rings relate what occurs on Wall Street on a daily basis.
"We're hoping this film will speak to the huge part of the population that doesn't get exposed to transformation and meditation," says co-director, producer and writer William H. Arntz in the film's press kit. "Even though the message is from a whole new perspective, it's still a presentation of awareness, choosing your own destiny, creating reality. We want the viewer to see that it's all a game -- and that you do not have to be guilty or inhibited about how you show up in the midst of it."
