"I was in the studio playing 50 my album and we was going over some stupid tracks and I was like, 'What you think about that?' And when he heard 'Mean Mug' he was like 'Aye, let me get on that?'" Soulja Boy tells The BoomBox. "I was like, 'Are you serious?' He was like, 'Yea man, let me get on that.' He jumped on the song and you already know. We did a million in the first 24 hours and I'm just humbled."
Aside from 50 Cent, Soulja Boy has recruited a number of other artists for his album including Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Trey Songz, Keri Hilson, and more. He recently took The BoomBox behind the scenes on the music video shoot for 'Blowing Me Kisses,' the second single off 'The DeAndre Way.'
As for future beefs, Soulja Boy says he's taking it easy. "Twitter is a way to express your feelings," he explains to The BoomBox. "So, if somebody say something else I can't 100 percent say I'm not gonna respond, but for the most part, I'm not into Twitter beef." Alas, Soulja Boy was back at it yesterday, finally responding to and lashing out at Stacks via Twitter.
