Golden age rap group Eric B. & Rakim will be inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame next month, an honor which they will share with fellow inductees LL Cool J, Run-DMC, Public Enemy, Steve Martin, Lou Reid, Barbra Streisand and many more.

The revered rap group, who released classics like 'Follow the Leader,' 'Don't Sweat the Technique' and 'Microphone Fiend,' will share the stage for the first time in over 15 years at the historic occasion, which takes place at Long Island, New York's Oheka Castle on November 16.

"No one can deny the huge contributions that both Eric B. and Rakim have made to hip hop history," explained Long Island Hall of Fame Vice Chairman Tom Needhame. "Few can match the turntable skills of Eric B., and Rakim's vocal style changed rap forever."
