T.I.'s lawyers have reportedly countered with an offer of 5-11 months for the Grand Hustle boss, who was arrested after making an illegal U-turn in his Maybach on L.A.'s Sunset Strip. A search of the vehicle would find both Tip and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle-Harris in possession of ecstasy.
The drug bust came just six months after Tip finished serving a one-year sentence for attempting to purchase automatic weapons, violating the terms of his probation. Tip's hearing for the L.A. arrest will be held at 2PM on October 15 in Atlanta, during which time he will learn the terms his next prison sentence.
T.I.'s long-awaited comeback album, 'King Uncaged,' currently has no scheduled release date.
