Alabama rapper YelaWolf is having quite the year. He is currently touring with Wiz Khalifa as part of the Wake and Bake tour, performed alongside Big Boi at the 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards, and recently graced the cover of Fader magazine's October/November issue.

"I took 'em out to Alabama," YelaWolf explained to The BoomBox in regards to his shoot with Fader. "I took 'em to the Coosa River. I was born off the Coosa River...We just hopped in and did some rope swings. We were actually out there trying to noodle some catfish. We were trying to noodle some catfish, but we couldn't."

Although 2010 has proven to be quite the year for YelaWolf, he's not done yet. Later this month he'll be releasing 'Trunk Muzik: 0-60' the follow up to his highly successful 'Trunk Muzik' mixtape which was released on New Year's Day of this year. In early 2011, fans of the rapper can also look forward to the release of another project by YelaWolf entitled 'Radioactive.' Both projects will be released via Interscope Records.

"Trunk Muzik: 0-60' is coming out in October," said YelaWolf. "And then the followup will be a release in March. It's called 'Radioactive.' So in October, 'Trunk Muzik: 0-60.' [That's] the warm up and then an album coming out in March. '0-60' is taking it to the next level. Making it bigger and better. Still keeping it gutter. We didn't want to alienate any of the fans we had created with 'Trunk Muzik' so we kept it in the same lane."

Surprisingly, YelaWolf isn't overwhelmed by the fame or his numerous projects, instead the rapper is more grateful than anything.

"I'm just staying focused. I worked hard to get here and you get what you ask for. You can't run from it. You just gotta go with it," YelaWolf revealed to The BoomBox. "So man, I'm just happy to have it, ya know. To have the opportunities."
