Birdman, real name Bryan Williams, announced his potential business venture during a Sirius radio interview on 'The Morning After' with Angela Yee. "We wanted to be part owner of the Dolphins and we're looking forward to that. It's in the works," Birdman told Yee. "You have to get clearance from the NFL and we're waiting for clearance. Once we get clearance, we good." Just as news of Birdman's potential NFL involvement began to spread, Dolphins owner Stephen M. Ross, issued a statement making it clear that there have been no discussions with the music mogul about team ownership. "I have never spoken to him or any representative," Ross said. "Not considering or looking for any celebrity limited partners."
Earlier this year, Birdman received similar backlash when Bloomberg news accused him of lying about his oil ventures with the new company Broland Oil & Gas LLC. On the music front, the Cash Money head honcho is currently gearing up to drop his first solo mixtapes 'White Boys' and 'Godfather.'
