Fabolous Heads to Trial for $85 Million Lawsuit

Brooklyn rapper Fabolous is scheduled to head to court this week to face an $85 million lawsuit filed by Philadelphia radio personality Lisa "Golden Girl" Natson.

In the suit, Natson charges that she was assaulted by Fab's bodyguard after her radio station, Power 99's annual Powerhouse concert back in 2004. The DJ was denied a ride on the rapper's tour bus, and his bodyguard "got really nasty." Natson claims that she then "joked" that she would stop playing the rapper's hit 'Breathe' on her radio show, and his bodyguard picked her up and slammed her to the ground, injuring her shoulder and back, while Fab looked on.

The trial is reportedly to start this week, though Fab denies that he was involved when the incident occurred. "I was on my tour bus and did not witness the alleged incident so I'm not aware of any details concerning the matter," Fabolous said in a 2004 interview. "I never touched or did anything to Golden Girl, therefore, I am not involved and do not have anything further to say or do with that incident."

Natson recently published a book entitled 'Sex and Celebrities: The Truth, The Whole Truth, The Naked Truth,' in which she describes a graphic sexual encounter with Lil' Kim, which was later revealed to be fantasy.

I had a similar experience with Nelly's bodyguard at a club in Atlanta where he pushed me. I was enjoying myself in the VIP section of "Pearl" as a guest of the radio station throwing the party (I'm also in the industry)...a couple of hours later, Nelly shows up with his pose including his overly aggressive bodyguard. Remember that I was there first - well they may an entrance with the bodyguard pushing me out of the way - he hurt my back (I'm almost 50 years old and a female). They entered into the VIP section so it wasn't like he had to fight the "masses". This was during last year's "Soul Train Awards" after-parties around town. I see now that maybe a lawsuit should have been put on this animal - then maybe these bodyguards will stop hurting innocent people - SOME bodyguards are liabilities to their respective employers.

r u z best

there is always some uneducated fool on these blogs like Phil. SMDH.

According to the article- Fabulous is trying to disavow any knowledge of the incident. ---well it doesnt quite work that way. Especially if the body Guard works for him.

Fabulous may not have $85 million but he record label does. So if the label gets hit with an $85 million lawsuit and has to pay $50 million for his stupidity. How do you think they are gonna RECOUP that money???

So every penny he makes off of every song - now goes straight to the record company until he pays that money back. Thats not so FAB-U-LOUS

Rap and R&B is for low IQ minorities and white trash wiggers. Unfortunately rap is here to stay because most people are very stupid and like chanting nursery rhymes set to drum beats. Rap is a way for them to go back to thier savage roots in the jungle.
