Just weeks before her highly-anticipated new album, 'Loud,' hits stores, Rihanna has announced that she will now be represented by Jay's company, alongside fellow singer Melanie Fiona, producer Mark Ronson and rapper Wale.
"[I'm] so excited to take this next step in my career," Rihanna told the Associated Press.
The move to Roc Nation is unsurprising, as Jay has served as Rihanna's mentor for the past five years, having signed her to Def Jam back in 2005, while briefly serving as the label's president.
In addition to signing with Jay's management company, the Barbados-born singer also revealed that she's started her own company, Rihanna Entertainment, to "merge all of her businesses, including music, film, fragrance, fashion and book ventures."
Rihanna's fifth album, 'Loud,' is scheduled to hit shelves on November 12.
