Wiz Khalifa Encourages Youth to Vote on Prop 19

Anthony Pidgeon, Redferns

Veteran rappers like Common, David Banner and Jay-Z have been encouraging young Americans to vote in the upcoming midterm election on Nov. 2, but young gun Wiz Khalifa makes the latest cameo in a video for the League of Young Voters Education Fund.

On the heels of dropping both his 'Half Baked' and 'Kush and Orange Juice' mixtapes, the toke-friendly rapper wants youth to go out and exercise their right to vote by registering at November2nd.org. No shocker here, but Khalifa is all for Proposition 19, which would legalize marijuana in the state of California. "I'm moving there anyway. Everybody would be smiling like me if they pass it." Khalifa says of Prop 19. Khalifa continues to live by the puff-puff-give motto. Earlier this month, he released the Pittsburgh Steelers shout-out and lead single -- 'Black and Yellow' -- for his Atlantic Records debut, dropping in 2011. Check out Khalifa's video to vote after the jump.
