Uncle Luke Sounds Off on Voter Turnout in Florida

In his weekly 'Luke's Gospel' column for Miami's New Times, 2 Live Crew founder Uncle Luke reflected on the recent elections, bemoaning the Florida Democrats who failed to vote.

"I have to congratulate the Tea Party. They came out in numbers and voted, This gave the Republicans a stunning historic election victory. The Take Back America movement is a force to be reckoned with," the controversial Miami hip-hop legend began, in the article, titled 'Democrats Got Tea Bagged All Night Long.'

"Now, all the African Americans who stayed home have no right to complain when new Gov. and fraud veteran Rick Scott puts up armed security checkpoints and barbed wire fences around every housing project in Florida. Welfare recipients can't moan when the state drug tests them before issuing food stamps."

Luke, whose music with 2 Live Crew was ruled too obscene to sell in the early '90s by a Southern Florida District Court Judge, continued to argue that the Democratic Party themselves were responsible for the Republican electoral victories in his home state, particularly former Congressman Kendrick Meek's failure to rest the Senate seat vacated by Republican Mel Martinez.

"The Democratic Party cock-blocked Meek," Luke wrote. "Liberal leaders were like the ugly rich dude who buys bottles at LIV nightclub for a bunch a girls that have no interest in sex with him. The Democrats are like University of Miami fair weather fans who talk a lot of s--- on local sports talk radio but never show up to any home games -- unless the Hurricanes are playing Florida State or Florida. Meanwhile, the Tea Party is like the Gator Nation, who show up to home games no matter who the team is playing. And yesterday, the Tea Party showed up for the big game."

Uncle Luke should be in every state telling college students and all ethnic groups they should have put down their soap opera shows,weed,baloney sandwich and their once a month baby daddy to get out and vote.Now, son't complain when security will not allow your potential baby daddy to visit you in the project or a sign on your back with food stamp lousy wanna be respected person,or complain about anything even when you wait two days in the emergency room or die waiting.WHY? You didn't take your no count butt out to vote.Did you hear the Republicans say they will say no on everything to make our President Obama failed!!!!HOller!1The fight of justice is not over folks,Now they are picking on affirmative action to destroy one day after election.Do a party in your city to get people to vote ,but vote college students to cut the tuition and all students have all the curriculums at their college campus.Save gas and vote.

Uncle whatever his real name is, is STUCK ON THE PLANTATION MENTALITY, like too many blacks, wanting someone else to feed them, pay their rent, educate their children, provide heaalthcare, etc. Get this one truth through your head: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GOVERNMENT MONEY, IT IS TAXPAYER MONEY! The government forcibly takes money from working, productive people, and give it to non-working, unproductive people IN EXCHANGE FOR VOTES. This has been a democrap strategy for decades now, and SOME people are saying:"ENOUGH OF THIS BS!" You keep drinking the KoolAid, I'll drink more TEA {Taxed-Enough-Allready}.

I believe a lot of the Florida vote was from senior citizens who saw medicare cut of half a trillon dollars from Obamacare. Also, no COLA increses in social security in the last two years.

No one should Complain, If you're Republican (Tea Party) Democrat, Middle of the Road you screwed yourself by not Voting Democrat and especially if you're Unemployed and recieving Unemployment Checks? Your A$$ didn't Vote and the Re-puke-blick-ings are going to make sure your time on the role is shortened, no more Checks sent to your Dumb A$$. for not Voting Democrat and No more for Voting for the Jerks who think you don't deserve it.You wanted Re-puke-blick-ings in office so now suffer you Dummies.

I work for the City of New York in the Food Stamp program. I have been there for 17 years. Yes, I had to take a drug test to be hired-but that was 17 years ago. Now, as far as the program is concerned, a very large precentage of the recipients of food stamp benefits are the elderly and the disabled. So, when we rant about "drug testing", lets please take that fact into consideration.

The Democrats have been taxing us to death and making these welfare recipients believe it's the only way, when in reality, they would be so much more content with their lives if they worked and was a productive part of society. I totally agree with AFDC/Social Security/Medicaid for the people who truly NEED it, such as disabled children and adults. The government, namely the Democrat Party has been shoving this "government help" down their throats for decades!! They want them to be dependent on the government. We are very tired of it, so change is coming soon, thank God!!
