"It's official Wayne laid his 1st verse!!!!! Torture!!!! YMCMB," Maine wrote Monday (Nov. 8).
Just shy of making an official announcement, members of Wayne's camp have revealed that the 28-year-old is itching to make new music. Aside from his long-awaited 'Tha Carter IV' album Wayne prepping a joint follow-up album, 'Like Father Like Son 2,' with his Cash Money Records boss, and father-figure, Brian "Birdman" Williams. "Me and Wayne gonna do a father/son album, that's about it for me," Birdman revealed to The BoomBox prior to Wayne's release. "Once he got locked away he said he'll wait to come home and re-do 'Carter IV,' [so that he can] record some more music."
Weezy's most recent release, 'I Am Not a Human Being,' dropped during his incarceration and quickly climbed to the top of the Billboard album charts. 'Tha Carter IV' is scheduled to drop early next year.
