The 22-year-old, whose real name is Cameron Thomaz, was thrown into the Pitt County Detention Center in Greenville, North Carolina at 1:40AM EST and given a $300,000 bond. According to reports, nine others were booked into the jail at the same time for the same charges, though it is currently unclear if they were all arrested together. Wiz Khalifa was apparently released Tuesday morning and took to his Twitter account.
"Waken...baken...wrist still achin. thnx for tha love and support," he said. "Man, jail sux! but bein taylor'd doesn't ... finna get tha rest of these fools out and grab sum grub."
Several other rappers on the 60-date Waken Baken tour tweeted about the incident. "K9 comes on the bus. Who's bag they ask to go thru first. F---ing dog shoulda dropped dead," tweeted Smoke DZA. "Phew.. looks like my guy wasn't too lucky.. Gotta give him some tips when he frees up.. Thank god I wasn't on that trip."
Curren$y posted a video of the alleged arrest. "They ran on lil bruh's bus...... im finna smoke this telly down in his honor..... thats them bull chips mann.... legalize it," he tweeted. "Sure it wasnt any assault rifles,kilo's, or dead hookers so cuzzo will be str8...stop all dat puss a-- fretting..we G's..chips is wack tho."
