"I have been in the game for so long and still have the same passion I did when I first started," Snoop Dogg explained. "I want my fans to ride with me on this one and know that I am so focused on bringing good music to them. It's called 'Doggumentary Music' because this is my life and I want to share my music, and my process of making it, with the fans."
The album's first single, 'New Year's Eve,' has already been making the rounds and is currently available on iTunes. Yet perhaps the most interesting aspect of the new record might be how Snoop extends his recent embrace of social media platforms like Twitter and UStream to give fans more of a personal, behind-the-scenes documentary feel to how a Snoop album gets made. He plans to extensively document his life and the creative process through a series of videos and UStream chats leading up to its release.
'Doggumentary Music' is currently slated for a release sometime in March.
