Beyonce Creates Own Genre of Music -- Say What!

Good news, kids. Beyonce's working on making a new music genre. "I'm actually in the studio now writing songs and producing," the singer revealed recently. "I have a lot of live instruments that I'm putting into the tracks to try to change the sound and make my own genre of music." Yeah, it sounds just like R&B/pop, except it's got Beyonce doing vocals. It's crazy. [ET]

Ke$ha's back with a new quote for the weekend. In response to being called a "skanky drunk with dirty hair," she said "well, I don't wash my hair every day! My record is honest. I'm a 23-year-old who's had a drink, I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. Maybe I tell people details others choose not to share with the world, but I'm not a drunk, I'm not a whore, but I'll have a drink. You can be intelligent and be fun." 23? Doubt that. [Perez]
