T.I. Covers VIBE, Says Drug Use Started After Trip to Dentist

Exactly!!! Nothing against any dentist, or the dentist guy speaking on this message board. But I not being a dentist, or a fan of T.I., or anything of the nature....I would have enough sense to know and understand just how he got oxycontin. Was already spoken on here to begin with. Before I begin, I'm not speaking about every Dr., but I know how "many" of them are. I use to work in a pharmacy, and I know exactly how they like to be perceived as being "GOD." So many of them think they know it all, when they know nothing more than anything but their profession. When it comes to common sense, they lack much of it!! and when it comes to dealing with "people," they have no manners at all, and seem to look down on others. Once again, I'm not talking for all Dr.'s, but this is by experience, and it's just some of them! Anyways, to get to my point, you walk into many Dr.'s offices and you'll see all these autographs of sports players, or autographs of celebrities. For what reason I have no idea, but for one, to show off, and for two....to show everyone just who their patients are. Then ya get to the Dr.'s who do have celebrity patients, and well, they wanna keep them coming to their office so they can have something to talk about to all their friends, and have a self promotion thing going. So with just a little common sense, anyone can see why a Dr. would easily just handout these C2 prescriptions to these celebrities for the procedures they get, and then uh-oh, they run out of their pain meds....what are they gonna do? Tell their celebrity "NO." I don't think so!! That'd be a quick and easy way to lose a "celebrity client." They then go to another Dr. whom I'm sure, If I was a celebrity, and I called 10 different Dr.'s, I'm pretty sure I could find 3 or 4 who would "hook me up" with what I wanted. Isn't no difference than a celebrity walking in a big named clothing store in New York, and the owner giving them all they wanted so they can go promote all their clothes...or a musician going on tour to rock out 50 different arenas,...obviously the promoters are gonna give them all the guitars, keyboards, and drum kits as they please. It's all about putting their names out there, and praying in the end that someone out there in the public will freak out and just have to go see that Dr., stylist, or music brand. As also stated earlier, just ask Michael, he got what he wanted, he wanted to sleep, the Dr. hooked him up for good! Ask, Jose Canseco, they saw his arms, then Mark McGwire, Bonds, Palmeiro, Juan Gonzalez, Sammy Sosa, Roger Clemens, and the rest of the bunch wanted the same thing. People want popularity/money. Without all that, nice guys wouldn't finish last...now that's another long subject for another day.

He is hooked on oxycontin after a dentist visit get real. I have R.S.D. nerve damage to my leg & have been on Oxycontin since 1998 20 mg I only take 1 every 12 hr.s 20mg & never had to go any higher than 20mg.On a pain scale of 1to 10 it stays around 2 or 3. Look up R.S.D.& you will see how bad the pain is for some people & you will see they are not hooked eather & this pain never will go away there is no cure.

Wow, people need to realize that everyone is different and they have problems that lead to drug addiction. All I really have to say is before you judge someone take a look at yourself because you done things wrong in your life too eventhough it may not have been as bad as what they did but it doesnt give anyone the right to judge anyone wheather youre a dentist or not. You only have a right to an opinon. So people notice everyone makes mistakes and they deserved to be forgivem for them

Maybe the doctor YOU work for dosen't do it, but it is a reality. A lot of bloggers are getting sensitive and defensive on the notion that a physician would prescribe a drug that is as powerfull as Oxycotin. TI is not saying that the doctor PUSHED the drugs on him. TI is not off the hook, nor the doctors that make a killing from continuing to prescribe these drugs knowing the potential harm that comes with it.

First of all I believe him. Second, he is a celebrity, and celebrities get special treatment. I'm quite sure he was prescribed whatever he wanted. His dentist is a DOCTOR, and can write a script for anything. Hollywood is booming with crackhead celebrities. Why? because they have the money and the access. Look at Charlie Sheen; he is a straight up crackhead. Lindsay Lohon, another crackhead, and a whore on top of that. Hollywood is covered with drug addicts (crackheads). Of course blacks will always be the ones who are scruitnized, but let the truth be told, whites use just as many drugs as any other race, and more!! So don't be so quick to judge.
