Kanye West Gets Booed During Thanksgiving Parade

Kanye West had a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving holiday, however getting booed at the 84th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade wasn't one of them.

The 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' creator performed a few tracks from his new album, including the Auto-Tune heavy 'Lost in the World,' as he made his way down the streets of New York City atop of a float shaped like an apple.

During his performance, the Chi-town MC received a slew of negative comments and booing from spectators. Among them were shouts of "Hey, Kanye, jump!" and "You're an a------, buddy. Be nice." Several people standing on a balcony also chanted "Taylor! Taylor!" in regards to Taylor Swift.

Watch Mr. West get booed below.

I agree that Kanye should perhaps tone it down a bit. However, I feel his rants are pretty accurate. I was shocked when Beyonce's Single Ladies video didn't win the award; I wanted to scream WTF, who is this b*tch (I never even heard of Taylor before the incident). When watching Hurricane Katrina footage, it also crossed my mind that the President doesn't give a f*ck about black people. I know its ignorant, but he says things that others are afraid to say. Perhaps some conversations are best amongst "family". Kanye is a musical genius. Now Taylor's stiff moves in the recent Cover Girl commercial deserves to be booed.

Taylor's album that year debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart. It was the largest opening U.S. sales week in 2008 by a female artist in ALL genres of music, and the fourth biggest overall behind Lil Wayne, AC/DC and Coldplay. My guess would be that you tend to listen to one genre of music which would explain why you had never heard of her.

As for Katrina, black was not the issue. Green was. It's the only color that matters. If you have it you can do whatever you want. If you don't you're expendable and you'd better toe the line.

I've been a fan of Kanye's music since his first album but not a fan of his character. We all have opinions but there is a time and a place and interruping someone else's acceptance speech was just plain rude.

As for racism, Kanye is one of the biggest biggots out there. He doesn't bother looking past race - it's always the easy answer whenever something doesn't go the way he thinks it should. So much easier to blame 'the man' for everything than to get off his ass and work to make some positive changes in the world.

Love you Kanye. Ignore the musically challenged hecklers. That's why Taylor is ther favorite. She's musically challenged as well.

Kanye. Get a good shrink and let him explain to you what a sociopath is. That would be you. Also, maybe you should look up the defintion of "racist". Because brother, you are the biggest racist of this era!! Yeah. Keep spewing all the hate. That'll keep racism alive and well for decades! You aren't helping anyone. especially not your own brothers and sisters! Does your momma know that you hate on the people so much? Disgusting! Pardon the pun, but the pot, shouldn't be calling the kettle black!!
