Fans who purchase the app will be able to check in from various locations, similar to that of popular applications Foursquare and Gowalla. But with Soulja Boy's app, buyers will be offered exclusive Soulja Boy content including music, videos and tour dates. For every time that a user checks in, they can accrue badges referred to as 'tattoos' with names like Pretty Boy Swag, Pretty Girl Swag and Stacks on Deck.
"I'm giving my fans a place for them to communicate and connect with me and each other from anywhere, at any time," said Soulja Boy in a statement. "With the 'SouljaWorld' app, I'm taking Foursquare to the next level and putting my swag into it."
Soulja Boy most recently released his fourth studio album 'The DeAndre Way,' which hit stores this past Tuesday. The LP features guest appearances from 50 Cent, Trey Songz, Lil B, Ester Dean and Bei Maejor, as well as production from Boi-1da, Drumma Boy, Polow da Don and more.
