Knight was set to appear in front a judge to deal with two tickets stemming from a Sept. 23 incident where he was pulled over for driving through a stop sign as well as operating a vehicle with a suspended license. After he was a no-show for his initial court date on Nov. 23, a warrant was issued, according to documents obtained by TMZ.com.
Shortly after the gossip website posted the warrant news, the Compton native was taken into custody around 11:30PM on Dec. 3. He was then booked at a West Hollywood police station shortly around 1:15AM. Knight was given a citation and ordered to sign a promise to appear before being released.
Recently, Knight made headlines when a lawsuit he brought against Kanye West was dismissed. In the suit filed by Knight, he requested $1 million in damages from West, blaming him for lax security at a 2005 Miami Beach event where the rapper was hosting. Knight was shot in the leg during the party.
