'The ArchAndroid' creator will captivate audiences as UK darling Winehouse's opening act during Brazil's Summer Soul Festival. Dates include Jan. 8 in Florianopolis, Jan. 13 in Recife and Jan. 15 in Sao Paulo. During that time, Monáe joins the 'Back to Black' performer as she takes the stage at the Arena HSBC on Jan. 11 in Rio de Janeiro.
Following her touring jaunt with Winehouse, the wunderkind moves over to the UK, where she'll kick off her tour at Bristol 02 Academy on Feb. 24. The 'Tightrope' singer's performance spree sees her at various venues in the country throughout March 1, where Monae will close out at London's Roadhouse.
Last month, the pop futurist completed a joint tour with indie band Of Montreal, which began in mid-September.
