With a total of 16 albums, 90 awards and over 230 award nominations between the two of them, Coldplay and Jay will ring in the New Year with a bevy of hits. Both are slated to perform individual sets in addition to a joint performance.
Attendees of the ultra-exclusive party will include Grammy winners and nominees. The winning bidder will also snag a three-night stay in a City Room or Terrace Studio in the hotel, two tickets to the Marquee Nightclub and Dayclub New Year's Eve preview party, a New Year's Eve dinner for two at any restaurant within the hotel, and a New Year's day brunch at the hotel's eatery, Wicked Spoon.
Bidding on the VIP tickets will close Thursday (Dec. 23), with proceeds benefiting The Grammy Foundation which brings national attention to issues such as the value of music and arts education.
