Keyshia Cole Calls 'All Hearts' With New Album

Gino DePinto for AOL

Keyshia Cole is still about her business. The songstress has been busy promoting her just released fourth album, 'Calling All Hearts,' planning her marriage to NBA player Daniel Gibson, taking care of their newborn son, and maintaining the world of Keyshia Cole. Not a bad gig for a soul sista from Oakland, Calif.

With motherhood now an added driving force to her already healthy ambition, Cole's new album features contributions from Nicki Minaj and Faith Evans and production from the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and Timbaland. Cole also penned her own songs. Once considered next in line to R&B divas like Mary J. Blige and Toni Braxton, Cole can now be considered one of their peers.

Trials and tribulations like her currently cold relationship with her mother Frankie Lons have only strengthened Cole's convictions. Consider 'Calling All Hearts' an invitation to another facet of Cole's sphere that is first and foremost fitted with quality music.

Happy for you Keyshia but always honor and respect your mother for the bible says that is one of the only 10 rules that God has given us.

I have a mother who has been addicted to drugs and an alcoholic for much of my life but until you know their story (which Frankie probably wants buried) their hurts and have walked in their shoes, you can never help her because you will never be able to forgive. I was 34 before I learned what pushed my mom to drugs and I don't know that I wouldn't have ended my life had that happened to me. I begin to understand that she was traumatized and dealt with it the best way she knew how because she couldn't / didn't seek help. In the end I saw the pain my mom lived with and all the pain added to that from her guilt behind her children. I was able to see her as a human who lost control and that made me forgive her and I have been able to support her which has helped her alot.
