Lil B Signs With Amalgam Digital, Preps Two Albums

After burning up the Internet with his foul mouth and a slew of mixtapes, Lil B has found a new label home. The rapper, who is also a member of The Pack, has inked a deal with Amalgam Digital to release the digital-only album 'Angels Exodus' on Jan. 18, serving as a prelude to the full-length LP 'Glass Face.'

"This is Lil B. Shout outs to Amalgam Digital, they been ahead of this for a while. We are putting out these two albums called 'Angels Exodus' and then 'Glass Face.' It's going to be historical works of art with these albums," he told AHH.com.

The first release sees the controversial MC coloring outside the lines. "On 'Angels Exodus' it's going to be real hip-hop and sticking to the script. I'll be going far outside of the boundaries and staying far away from the script too," he said, before firing an errant shot at Lil Wayne. "The 'Glass Face' album will live up to it's [sic] name. These albums are something everyone will understand. They are the reason why I'm 10' tall and everyone else is just 6'7''... no diss. You know I love everybody."

Lil B got his start in the game as one-fourth of California's The Pack, which built a buzz in 2006 and soon signed to Jive Records. After getting dropped from the imprint in 2008, they resigned with Indie Pop to release their sophomore LP 'Wolfpack Party' in August 2010. Apart from his group, Lil B has dropped a staggering number of mixtapes, causing controversy by trash-talking Kanye West and Joe Budden.
