According to TMZ, the 'Funky Cold Medina' performer was driving in Los Angeles on Dec. 13 around 3AM, when LAPD officers pulled him over for maneuvering his vehicle erratically. However, the rhymer claims his erratic behavior was a result of a seizure he experienced behind the wheel. Loc's manager revealed he does not drink and hasn't for many years, but rather suffers from a long history with seizures.
Loc, born Anthony Terrell Smith, was carted away to a nearby station house after his arrest and released 12 hours later on $5,000 bail. His release was reportedly a result of officers recognizing his medical condition.
Later that day, Tone Loc checked himself into an L.A. hospital. The entertainer, who released two albums during his career--'Lõc-ed After Dark' and 'Cool Hand Lõc' -- believes he suffered from a seizure due to "bad food he had earlier that day."
