According to TMZ, the L.A. County District Attorney's office decided to drop drug possession charges, against Cottle, after she successfully completed 24 sessions of a drug diversion program in her home state of Georgia. The 35-year-old was arrested alongside Tip last September during a drive down Sunset Boulevard. The twosome were pulled over after the Atlanta rapper made an illegal U-turn in his Mercedes Maybach. Further search of the vehicle uncovered the presence of both marijuana and ecstasy. Although both were arrested, they were released the next day, and headed back to Atlanta.
Even though Tiny, a former member of Xscape, is catching a break, T.I. was not so lucky. As previously reported the self-appointed King of the South was sentenced to one year behind bars, for breaking the terms of his probation, stemming from a previous prison bid, which he completed in late 2009. Despite being locked up, the 30-year-old went forward with the release of his seventh album, 'No Mercy,' which hit stores last month. Keeping in contact with the public via his website, T.I. revealed that he was sick of return jail trips and vowed to make a change. However, his latest rendezvous with his wife, landed him in a Special Housing Unit, which now restricts his privileges. The couple has not been allowed to speak to each other since.
After dating for several years, the couple, who share two sons, wed last August in a private ceremony in a Miami courthouse, before exchanging vows for a second time during a lavish ceremony attended by friends and family.
