'Clap Clap' features Kim's new hip-hop crew I.R.S. and will appear on their upcoming mixtape. On the track, Kim goes after rival Nicki Minaj, who she first lashed out at on the track 'Black Friday.' But Kim's take on Wayne's '6 Foot 7 Foot' showcases her more playful side, mimicking Weezy's flow over the Bangladesh beat.
"OK, OK, I got the ball, I'm coming down the court like Jordan with his tongue out/ Petite and all, I'm stepping on y'all like a I'm 20 foot tall," a reinvigorated Kim spits, before shouting out her new I.R.S. crew. "Juice box liable to start a 20 man brawl, shame on y'all/ Thinking I'm a fall, I'm not fall like the dope fiend lean (lien)/ I.R.S. the team, live in New Jeruz, rep 718, Buckingham Palace like Elizabeth the Queen."
Though both tracks feature less memorable verses by Kim's young I.R.S. cohorts Dash and Lamboulx, the Queen Bee's energetic verses will more than tide fans over until her new album, which is five years in the making, finally arrives.
