The St. Louis based trio, will be the first of its kind signed to Antney's company Mizay Enterainment. Group members include Tiffany Fox, Scar Ladon, and Brooke Holladay who are currently working on the release of their debut single and video 'Dollaz.'
"When we first came together we met because we were all in the business," said Tiffany Fox. "Through conversation we realized a void in the industry for female rappers and decided to do something about it. So we joined forces on June 5th and became the group June 5th."
As St. Louis natives, June 5th say they hope to be the first female hip-hop group to follow in the footsteps of artists like Nelly, the St. Lunatics and Chingy. "Being in St. Louis we have seen artist break on a major level," states Brooke Holladay. "So we know that it takes hard work and strong drive, which we all have."
June 5th's debut album is scheduled to be released later this year.
