Fabolous Sued for Assault by Atlanta Busboy

Fabolous is in trouble. The New York rapper, who made a recent trip down to Georgia, has been sued by an Atlanta busboy named Octavious Butler, who claims that the 'Body Ya' MC assaulted him with a glass bottle at ATL's Fox Sports Grill.

While working at the restaurant, Butler, who filed the lawsuit on Jan. 31 in Fulton County Superior Court, alleges that the Brooklyn native hit him with not only a glass bottle, but with his fist. He claims that Fab joined another attacker and assaulted him unprovoked. The financial terms of the lawsuit have not been disclosed.

This isn't the first time that the 31-year-old rapper has gotten into trouble. Back in October 2006, he was arrested for carrying an unlicensed weapon after getting shot in the leg, and the following year, he was suspected to have been involved in the fatal stabbing of a childhood friend. In February 2009, police discovered 500 pounds of weed on his tour bus, though he dodged charges since he wasn't aboard at the time.

Fabolous and Def Jam have yet to comment on the incident and lawsuit. The rapper is currently focusing on recording his upcoming mixtape 'The S.O.U.L. Tape,' set for release later this month.

im so sick of blacks getting away with things because they will cry racim if they do something wrong and ick of spooks getting jobs ahead of other races just to make the company look good even if they arent as qualified for a job

Wow really blacks are spooks huh and we get a lot of jobs over white folks? First I need you to learn how to spell...maybe that's why you don't have a good job. It probably has nothing to do with a "Black" taking your job. :/ Second, you guys constantly get a way with crimes and what I'm sure you would call "thug" behavior. Can we say CHARLIE SHEEN, Lindsay Lohan, Winona Ryder, the list goes on and on. Instead of punishing them you give them more money, Oscars, Grammys and Emmys. You all crack me up. EVERY ONE of your rock stars have admitted to drug use, but we're the thugs huh?

This rapper is just another low life scum that somehow became well known and probably rich because the puplic is enamored with infamous and outragousness..If the same rapper were to have discovered a cure for diabetes..sadly no one woild know his name..no one here.

I am a fan of rap music and am a rapper myself.. and you said nothing wrong at all. I agree with you - Im tired of defending the music and the idiots behind it. It's affecting every race. Unfortunately, they act like this because like any other star/politician they can get away with it. The gov't is easily starstruck.
