Chris Brown Debuts Platinum Blond Hair

Rihanna isn't the only one who likes to rock brightly colored hair, apparently her ex, Chris Brown, wants a piece of that action, too.

Brown dyed his hair platinum blond over the weekend, debuting the drastic new 'do on his Twitter page Saturday (Feb. 26). "Look at me now," the singer wrote alongside a link to the photo here, which was viewed close to 70,000 times within an hour of its posting.

Although some of Brown's over 1 million followers loved the new look, others were not so forthcoming with their praise. Many blasted the 21-year-old for his hair color, likening him to Amber Rose, and Dru Hill lead singer Sisqo. Twitter users even created the trending topic 'Crisqo.'

The Virginia native has been making strides to put his career back on track, after claiming to have been "blacklisted" following his assault on Rihanna, in 2009. In following the terms of his probation, the singer has completed court appointed domestic violence awareness courses and community labor. Additionally, a judge recently lifted a protective order, allowing Brown to be in the same vicinity as Rihanna, so long as he promises not to "harass, annoy or molest" her.

Brown's fourth album, 'F.A.M.E.,' is set to drop March 18.
