The suit claims that Prince, whose real name is Prince Rogers Nelson, has balked on payments despite several requests. "Nonetheless, the Nelson Parties have failed to pay an additional $708,687.04 due to PBWT," the suit asserts. "PBWT has repeatedly but unsuccessfully requested payment from the Nelson Parties."
The law firm has previously represented him in high profile cases, including a suit filed by a perfume company against Prince after he failed to promote his scent '3121.' They also helped settle suits over canceled concerts and represented Prince when NBA player Carlos Boozer sued him for redecorating the Hollywood abode Prince was renting from him for $70,000 a month.
Prince most recently wrapped up the East Coast leg of his 'Welcome 2 America' tour, which included several gigs at New York City's Madison Square Garden as well as East Rutherford, New Jersey's Izod Center.
