"Lyrically, you can expect a dude just going off," Raekwon told The BoomBox about penning 'Shaolin Vs. Wu-Tang.' "I'm gonna go off. I'm in my zone right now." Originally, the album was intended for Wu-Tang, and caused some tension between the group when Rae decided to break off on his own with it. With things settled, Rae featured some of his Wu family on the album, including Ghostface Killah, GZA, Inspectah Deck, Method Man and more.
