While Jay-Z is a partial owner of the New Jersey Nets, tickets to the Knicks will be a hotter commodity after fielding their first winning team in a decade and acquiring star shooter Carmelo Anthony in a recent trade. These tickets are valued at a whopping $20,000, but should far exceed that in the open auction. Bidding started at $8,500 and has already hit $16,000 as of press time. Bids can be placed until the end of March.
The only catch is that Jay-Z gets to pick the game of his choice and that date is non-negotiable. Basically, if you're rolling with Hov, he gets to call the shots. All proceeds will benefit the Stephen Gaynor School for the education of special needs children and any winner will be subject to a full background check just to make sure no one has an old beef to settle.
Get your money right and go place a bid here.
